Lionel 6-8359 O Gauge Chessie System GM Gold GP7 Diesel Engine EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 6-8359 O Gauge Chessie System GM Gold GP7 Diesel Engine from 1974. This was the first Limited Edition item ever made by Lionel and was a tough item to find when it was released. The prototype was made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of GM‘s Electromotive business. Features include operating headlights, illuminated number boards, remote forward, neutral and reverse, finished in metallic gold with dark blue markings, a powerful pullmor motor, self-centering knuckle couplers and it measures 14 inches long.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This cars trim is slightly loose. This cars railing shows minor wear. The wheels show average run-time. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. `The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included.
