Here is a Bachmann 52801 HO Baltimore & Ohio 4-6-2 Light Pacific #5213 w/DCC/Sound. The advent of heavier, longer passenger trains in the early 20th century called for a new type of steam locomotive. The 4-6-2 (or Pacific class as it came to be known) answered that call in 1901. It went on to become the predominant express passenger engine for over 40 years. Bachmann’s new DCC sound-equipped 4-6-2 includes our Sound Value SoundTraxx® steam package with authentic prototypical chuff, short and long whistles, bell, air pump, steam release, and blower—all in 16-bit polyphonic sound. Performs best on 18 radius curves or greater.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive's boiler railing is slightly bent. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
