Introduced in the 19th century and further used during the 20th century, the 4-6-0 was a popular model thanks to its reliability and impressive stability when hitting speeds near 100mph. The 4-6-0 also referred to as a "10-wheeler" would eventually find its way in rail-yards around the world from the US to Finland, and even running the Cape Gauge in South Africa!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. This item appears to have been run sparingly, and displays overall signs of very light previous use. The original box is included along with a foam liner.
