This is Marklin 88226 Z Scale OBB Class 1020 Electric Locomotive. ÖBB cl 1020 heavy electric freight locomotive. Era V Austria, ÖBB. Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) class 1020 (former E 94). Version in Traffic Red paint scheme with light gray striping (Valousek paint scheme) as the locomotive looked at the start of the Nineties.
Its key features are:
Model has been realized prototypically with largely new tooling
Both ends of the locomotive body have windows and on the roof the catenary selector screw is no longer visible
Upper headlight is new on the hoods as are the side vents on the hoods
Headlights change over with the direction of travel and are warm white LEDs
5-pole motor
Both hood sections of the locomotive are constructed of metal
Both trucks are powered
Finely executed, prototypical paint scheme and lettering
Length: over the buffers 85 mm / 3-3/8
