Lionel 455 Vintage O Operating Oil Derrick and Pumper VG

This is a Lionel 455 Vintage O Operating Oil Derrick and Pumper from 1950-54. It stands approximately 14.5" inches tall. When you power this up the walking beam starts moving up and down simulating pumping oil from under your layout. There is also a glass tube with a brown liquid that bubbles simulating the oil coming up. It is a real Lionel classic and a favorite of many layouts.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This item shows scratches, dents, nicks, and paint loss throughout various sections of the body, detail pieces, and base. This item shows rust on the body, detail pieces, and base. The pulley string is loose, and the ladder is unattached at the bottom. Several pieces, like the base and tower, are dented and slightly bent. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This item did not work when tested and is being sold As-Is. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
