Lionel 400E Vintage Standard Gauge 4-4-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender

Here is a Lionel 400E Standard Gauge 4-4-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender from 1936-39. The 400E is Lionel's largest Standard Gauge Steam Locomotive and is the engine many people think of when they think Standard Gauge. It is nearly three feet long and features include a working headlight and red fire box glow light. This is the black version with copper trim, used with several top of the line freight train sets.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. The paint texture on the locomotive's bronze trim is rough and slightly cracked. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of tarnish throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive show spots of rust on the shell and chassis.
