Lionel 394 Vintage O Red Revolving Beacon Tower VG
This is a Lionel 394 Revolving (Heat Type) Beacon Tower from 1949-53. The beacon top on this tower is supposed to rotate based on the heat of the bulb rising through the slanted vents on the top of the lightweight beacon top with it being needle balanced on the top of the glass dimple bulb. Having a fan blowing on this tower is always a good idea. It is painted a reddish-orange color and measures 11 1/2 inches tall.
