Lionel 2528WS Vintage O 1872 5 Star Frontier Set [1959] EX/Box

This is a Lionel 2528WS 1872 5 Star Frontier Set from 1959. This set includes a 1872 steam locomotive with light and smoke, an 1872T tender, and 1877 flatcar with [4] horses, an 1876 mail car, an 1875W passenger car, [8] curved sections, The 1872 has smoke and headlight. The 1875W has a whistle. The tender has plastic trucks and couplers, while the passenger cars have plastic trucks and metal couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The surfaces of the locomotive and all cars included show light scratches and rub marks. Additionally, all items are starting to show minute speckles of rust in some areas. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The power pack and straight track sections are missing and NOT included. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Excellent.
