Lionel 2356 Vintage O Southern F-3 ABA Diesel Locomotives VG

This is a Lionel 2356 Vintage O Southern F-3 ABA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1954-56. These were one of the first Lionel F-3 sets decorated in colors other than Santa Fe or New York Central. Included is a powered A unit, a non-powered A unit, and a non-powered B unit. The powered unit features include dual motors, a reverse unit, operating lights, die-cast metal trucks, operating metal knuckle coupler and metal wheels. The non-powered a unit has an operating horn, operating couplers, lights metal trucks and wheels. The B unit features die cast trucks, fixed knuckle couplers, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Both A units have flaked nose decals. One of the A units is missing a port-whole window. The port-whole windows have yellowed on each unit. Both A units have bent step pieces. Each locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. Each locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
