Lionel 2345 Vintage O Western Pacific F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set VG

Here is a Lionel 2345 Vintage O Western Pacific F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1952. This is one of the harder to find of the Postwar F-3 sets, as it was only made for one year and was not included in a set. The powered unit features dual motors, e-unit, light, horn, screen roof ventilators, porthole lenses, and die cast frame and trucks. The non-powered unit is also lighted. Both engines have an operating coupler on the front (the rear coupler on each is fixed). One unit is powered and the other is a dummy.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. The non-powered locomotive has had various sections of the shell touched up with paint -- the shell's paint shows spots throughout. Both locomotives have flaked nose decals. Both locomotives have yellowed port-hole windows. Each locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. Each locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included.
