Lionel 2343 Vintage O Santa Fe F3 ABA Diesel Locomotive Set VG

This is a Lionel 2343 Vintage O Santa Fe F3 ABA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1950-1952. One of the icons of the Postwar Era, the 2343 improved upon the original 2333 with the addition of Magnetraction. The powered unit features dual motors, a remote activated operating horn, an operating headlight, illuminated number boards and cab, die-cast metal frame and trucks, a die-cast operating coupler on the front and a fixed die-cast coupler on the rear. The non-powered unit features an operating light, a die-cast frame, trucks, metal wheels & axles. This set also includes the 2343C B Unit with a screen top.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The horn was not tested due to heavy corossion on the battery contact. Each locomotive shows yellowed port-hole windows. Each locomotive shows flaked nose decals. Each locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. Each locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
